Are you old enough to play here? - Old as balls. [26 turning 27 on March 10th.]
Character
Name - Nill
Fandom - DOGS: Bullets and Carnage
Canon Point - Chapter 18
Personality - Nill is the quiet girl who likes to hide under the table but still offer an ear to listen with. Despite being a mute, Nill is often seen as the character who realizes what's going on around her the most. Her muteness is due to being a child experiment in the slums of the underworld that attempted to breed humans with animal characteristics. For Nill, she was given wings from a bird at the cost of her voice and because of that, she's often sought after as a prize.
The muteness that she has is often the source of the problems that stem in her life. Though she tries to be as helpful as possible, her activities are usually reduced to sweeping and lounging around the church in wait for Heine to return. This is mostly because she can't really do anything for herself. As a child that grew up in the laboratories of the Slums, Nill had everything given to her [as small amount as it was] and in turn only learned to read and write to make up for her lack of voice. While she tries to be of help to the Bishop in charge of the Church, she sometimes is just an ornament and decoration.
Other awkward situations that show her as a person, mostly stem around the Blind Bishop that somehow can tell she's a little girl. This is what we call, Loliphiles. Because of his love for little girls, he tends to make her go to a friend of his to be fitted for a 'gothic lolita' style. How he can tell by being blind is a mystery to everyone. Nill often shudders, cowers and cries when he goes in to his tangents about her or how she looks. Even despite the awkwardness and uncomfortableness he gives her, Nill is always willing to help due to being ever so thankful for the safe haven the Bishop and Heine give to her.
Even with not knowing much about life, Nill still tries her best to be of help to others. Whether it includes listening or trying to sew buttons on a jacket, Nill puts her heart and soul in to it even if she tends to come up short.
Due to her often being hunted by gang members, Nill is quick to find hiding places should the occasion call for it. She's been seen doing this when loud noises erupt and she promptly hides under a table and waits for the okay to come out. From time to time this proves comical as anything sends her off and running like a broom falling, a loud bang or boom, or even just a loud voice calling out from anywhere. With this sort of paranoia running high, Nill is always on the look out and skeptical of new people that come to the church. She hides behind people or looks on from a safe distance that way she can run [which she's good at] if there's the slightest hint of danger.
Expressive and caring, Nill's greatest happiness can be the simplest of things. She tries to be there for friends and she tries to offer a comforting shoulder to lay their head upon if they're in trouble. She tends to be this way towards Heine in particular, her savior, when he comes back from his missions with an exhausted look. Though he shrugs it off and say he's fine, Nill tends to just stare with wide eyes, hoping the worry would go away and the stress from him will disappear. It's this caring and compassionate side that really does let her live up to her physical appearance of being a tiny angel.
History - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Dogs:_Bullets_%26_Carnage_characters
Nill is first spotted running from a man who was chasing her so she would become a prostitute for a low life gangster calling her breed rather rare despite the mutations other children under went. Nill was bread as a mutant who happened to get wings rather than any other feature, however, with the gain of one thing came the price of loosing another. Her voice.
While chasing her, Nill was saved by Heine who took out the gangster following her, only to have the head boss rather displeased with this turn of events and decided to take matters into his own hands.
Sitting in a room with Haine, Haine himself soon discovered that Nill couldn't speak, and for that she almost seemed to feel bad for her inabilities to communicate. It seemed to frustrate Heine a bit, especially when he confessed he was just like her, a genetic mutation. She offered some kind of comfort and reached out to touch him only to have him coil back in fear in which he ordered her not to touch him and calling out his sister's name, 'Lilly'. Nill was rather frightened and eve more guilt bubbled for her inability to talk which made the mutant girl cry. The last thing she had wanted was to make her savior cry or be uncomfortable in any way.
The moment was interrupted by a knock on the door. It seemed that the Gangsters had tracked and followed both Nill and Heine to the hotel. Heine promptly took them out, however once he stepped out of the door he was blasted and sent flying out the window. All Nill could do was helplessly watch as he crashed through and without him there, she was easily captured again and taken to where she would be a bride and prostitute for one of the slums top gang members.
In her capture, Nill was about to be broken into submission by the Gangster, Mel [though she showed a new and rather angry side to her that was judged by her wings standing up on ends] when Heine and Badou proceeded to infiltrate the headquarters to get her back. This fueled an all out gun battle with Nill running past Heine as he pumped bullets into Mel which resulted in his death. Afterwhich she was taken with Heine and Badou to the church where the Bishop[Heine's mentor figure] seemed to express some rather..high interest in the young girl. Because of this odd fetish, the Bishop provided her with frilly clothing and dresses of the "Gothic Lolita" category. Nill showed her fear in the Blind Priest by quickly sliding behind Heine who seemed perfectly fine after the gun battle previously. Nill tends to trust Heine more than anyone else in the church, especially the Bishop even if she thanks him for allowing her to stay by doing chores.
When Haine was asked about being all right with her, Nill requested his hand, in the way a mute child could, by pointing where she took his palm and wrote her name for him to know where he then promised that she would be safe in the Church. In the manga, this is a big step since Heine has a rather harsh phobia of women in general but with Nill, he seemed to harbor no bad feelings when she touched him. Only the first time they met did he ever freak out.
Time passed and Nill grew to accept her life in the Church despite the Bishop enjoying putting her clothing that were highly questionable to a man of God. Nill was often seen waiting for Haine and Badou to return from their missions and once they had returned, she would happily greet them both and Heine would take her hand and walk with her around the church pews. A small gesture but one that brought much happiness to the mute girl.
Often charged with Church duties, Nill's mostly seen sweeping the church grounds where she firsts spotted a wandering woman with black hair and a sword. It was during the time where the priest inquired to the woman named Naoto and her sword that people from the Carselino Family appeared with guns. Inside the church they had threaten to take Nill for themselves yet Naoto wouldn't stand for it. In such a short time of knowing one another, Naoto and Nill had formed a sort of sisterly bond with one another which made Naoto another one of the people she would happily greet whenever she returned to the Church.
Previous Game History - (If none, say N/A. If there is some, cover what you think is important and has left a lasting impression on your character. You can even link threads, but if you do, please use a brief statement to summarize what is happening in that thread.)
Skills/Abilities/Powers Absolutely nothing with the exception that she is a fast runner. That's pretty much all she can do. And sweep.
Power Restrictions - She pretty much has no powers what so ever.
Inherited Power - Human Battery - Every battery on your person will charge gradually as long as you are not focusing your flashlight beam.
With Nill not having much of, well anything to her, a human battery seems to be a good choice for her. She's tiny, hides and seems to be shroud in mystery in her canon, making her a tiny little beakon of light and hope in an otherwise dark plot.

[ Sepia coloured feed turns on to show the view of a smallish looking girl staring back with wide eyes at the camera. After a moment or two, she holds it above her head, staring up at it with those same wide and owlish eyes. However, something behind her seems to move.
Small little wings perk up from behind, fluttering justly as her head tilts from side to side. She looks more like a curious bird than a normal curious person.
Turning her head, she glances around her, frowning now and then when she realizes she has absolutely no idea where she is or who might be around. The camera quickly drops from the view of her with only shaking and spinning from what looks to be a floor shot. People with horrible motion sick should probably turn off by now.
After a moment more of the wobbling, she holds it up again, but this time she seems to be between two large trunks of a tree, holding her camera up with the tiny paper from inside. Written on it, a small message that speaks volumes.]
Third Person Sample:While it had been a few days since Nill arrived to such an odd place, she had already been making herself known throughout the house. She was that small girl who couldn't speak with wings. As scary as it was to have people watching her, it wasn't new. Gangsters and even the scientists in the slums project saw her as something different and special. In a world where children were often given cat ears of rams horns or tails of cat like creatures, she was given wings that she could not fly with.
Still, she carried on her days as if nothing was new, which was a lie, everything was new. She was taller and her wings seemed just a bit more longer than she remembered but even still, she ignored them most of the time until it came to putting clothing on. Nothing here was designed for fitting them through, so often enough she would have to cut holes in the beautiful fabric of the kimonos given to her.
Sadly, that sort of thing added to her debt more and more, making her realize she might never get out of here in her young days. The though alone made her sigh as she carried pillows and blankets out to the outside to be washed. What added more insult to injury, she wasn't used to walking with her legs so constricted. Upon her sliding open a door and trying to step down where those weird wooden shoes were, she tumbled and fell, faceplanting on the comforters and pillows.
Her shoulders slumped and her face fell forward on to the lush bedding, another sigh escaping her muffled lips while her wings behind her, fluttered wildly, easily giving away how frustrated she was.
